About Earlymiser.com
Earlymiser.com grew out of my frustration of the
experience of comparison shopping. What I wanted was shopping
comparison on my terms. Most shopping engines are pretty good at
finding the best price of an item right when you are searching but
supposed you didn't want to buy right at the moment you are shopping.
Suppose you want that new flat screen television. If you go to the
typical shopping comparison engine, they will give you the best price
on the item at the that time. That is true of Shopping.com, Yahoo Shopping.
What they won' tell you is when is a price on a product particularly
good or set a pricing trigger on when to buy.
Let's take example you
want a particular new dvd player. While any of the above services can
find you the best price on the item right now. Let's say however you
want to the buy the item at your price which is 30% below what
everyone
is currently selling the item. You know at some point in the future
someone somewhere is gonna sell it at this price. By setting a pricing
trigger for the product you want you get it at the price you want.
Simply add the product to a feed, tag it up and set the pricing
trigger
you want the feed to be updated and then our system will notify you
when the product is at the price you want.
We also decided that we would
provide the widest shopping experience on the net so we are including
a
wide range of shopping sources. We have built the service as a mash up
of some of the top shopping services on the web. Currently we have as
channels Shopping.com, Yahoo Shopping, Amazon, Amazon
Marketplace, and Ebay.
This provides the most comprehensive coverage of product channels on
the Internet. With tagging and pricing triggers you can save and see
what other people tagged and discover products in new and interesting
ways. |
