Amazon.com Review: This is definitely not your grandmother's sifter. Unlike the old handle-crank variety with one layer of mesh, this sifter contains three layers of mesh and three sifting blades. The result is silky-smooth flour for fluffy cakes and well-mixed dry ingredients for melt-in-your-mouth cookies. 3 cups in this sifter may be a little ambitious for the extra-tidy cook (because of possible spills), although 2 cups fit just fine. This product's spring-loaded handle makes sifting quick, but also intense, which might make it difficult for people with weak grips. However, the result is well worth the work. --Amanda Powter
