| What doorchestra drummers and bakers have in common? Vic Firth tools of course! Vic Firth was a timpanist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra for nearly fifty years. For the past thirty-five years he has turned his attention to manufacturing the finest drumstick in the world. In keeping with his exacting standards, the same woodturning expertise is now being employed to produce peppermills and salt mills of the highest quality. More recently he has turned his attention to rolling pins. This lightweight pin is the preferred tool for chefs when it comes to rolling out thin pie crusts. It's tapered from the middle out to both ends, allowing easy rotation of the pin around the dough for rolling out perfect circles. |
