| I lost my original watch after 5 years of use so, I bought this as a replacement. It is heavy stainless steel watch and bracelet and it has solar compass. However I snorkeled many times in very salty waters of Caribbean Sea and Atlantic with no traces of rust or leak in the watch. I forgot that I was wearing it when diving for several feet to take pictures or just spending time on the surface. The only drawback I have found to it is that it attracts Barracudas... as any shiny object so you might want to be careful ;-) It remineded me many times that it is time to come back to boat. |

| My wife agve me this watch for christmas, been usit it since then. Even though the image depicts a heavy timepiece, it is light but sturdy. When you open the sun compass you have pretty easy access to the adjustment wheel (a feature not present in most watches!) It is the correct size for me (got medium-big hands) and the numbers and bars are easy to spot. Be careful with the sun compass hinge, though. It swivels around a standard steel bar (like half a millimeter wide) so any hard impact with the sun compass open could rip it off. When it is closed it always stays in place. |
