Great set for the money (I paid about $43 + $3.99 overnight shipping w/ Amazon Prime)...Heavy in your hand, great balance and excellent quality. I decided after months of the crappiest "dollar store" silverware set in the world, that I no longer wanted to get rust poisoning from my flatware. I bit the bullet on these because they looked like good quality and Amazon was about $11 cheaper than wally world. GREAT product!!! SO PLEASED!! One word of advice, though...They're not good with paper plates...Due to their weight, people tend to drop them left and right. Good problem to have I guess...jP

A friend of mine has this silverware and I like it so well that I bought my own. There is something about the weight and balance that makes it 'comfortable'. It is sturdy and doesn't bend, even when scooping ice cream. If you are looking for ornate, this isn't the silverware for you but I think it is attractive. It looks better than the picture.

I own a set and very satisfied with it. My set came in a nice wooden flatwear tray. Purchased from Walmart for $42.99 plus tax.

Not much to say here. It's Oneida, so the quality is good. The design is very simple (it's a basic mirror surface, not matte as the utensils may look in the display picture) but also very classy and can go well with any dinnerware set, modern or traditional. The big selling point here is price: for 55 bucks, I wouldn't look anywhere else. I was actually trying to find a 4-person set, not an 8-person one, but for a just a few dollars more I got twice as much silverware, and a serving utensil set too. I just moved into my first apartment and bought everything from forks and knives to bookshelves and lamps, and out of everything I bought, this still seems like one of my best purchases. At 55 dollars, it's not quite a steal, but pretty close!
The bottom line:
- It's Oneida, so you know you can trust the quality.
- Simple, elegant design that goes well with anything.
- Great price for what you get! |

These are great. They're classy- heavy, but not too heavy, and not over designed, and elegant. I thought they were brushed metal, or frosted metal from the picture- but they aren't, all in all though they're wonderful.
