I bought this for my 25 lb 1 year old son. I typically carry him everywhere, but he's getting too big for me to do that. I have a travel system, but it takes up so much room in my car that I decided to get an umbrella for those quick trips, and days I just can't carry him.

The Jeep umbrella handles great! I am very happy with it. I would have given it 5 stars except that the sun canopy is a joke -- they shouldn't even bother having one, since it just gets in the way and never protects my son from the sun.

It also would be nice for even a small basket of some kind, but since this is an umbrella, I guess that's asking for too much.

If you're looking for a great stroller for a trip to the mall, and one that is compact and lightweight for your car, this is a great option!

This is Nana's stroller,so lightweight and easy to fold were important.
Very handy getting through tight areas but have also gone off road in the park. Grandson enjoys the ride.

light weight, nice for the summer, wheels are a dud : Powered by Amazon

Our #1 priority was weight b/c we've been using a very heavy full size stroller. This was the lightest model in the store. Here's our likes/dislikes:
LIKES:
* extremely lightweight
* great material (you can roll up the fabric and expose the mesh backing)
* no sweating!!! (see the above explanation)
* very neutral (we have the tan model)
* easy to fold up
* 2 storage bags are quite convenient
DISLIKES:
* the WHEELS!!! (i think we got a dud, the front right tire never turned, then the other front one did the same after 3 months)

I just bought this stroller for my two year old son. We had a little Combi from my first son that just didn't roll or steer anymore. The main thing I have to say is this is an umbrella stroller, and to me that means a small stroller for small spaces. My two year old is tall for his age and he fits nicely. His feet just rest on the foot rest, and he can fit his arms beside him when he sits. The stoller rolls easily and steers easily (with two hands). It is a bit taller than other umbrella strollers, but I would not want to push it for a long time (I am 5'7"). It is sturdy, decent looking, easy to fold, and small when folded. I don't need the canopy for my needs, and I do see how you could bend it if you put something heavy on it. The side pouches are good for a no-drip sippy cup, a wallet, or a small toy or book.

This is a great stroller for a trip to the doctor's office or smaler store where you can't fit a full-sized stroller easily (like a card store). My older kids sometimes push it in a department or grocery store when I need all the space in the cart. I also use it to go to the park when I have to walk a bit but I know my son is going to get down to walk or play. To me, this stroller is not for long trips when space (for the child and for you) is important or long-term comfort is important. For an afternoon at the mall, with a diaper bag, purse, and coats from three kids, I take the big stroller. The same thing with being at a fair for the day. For what I use it for, it is perfect!

I usually alternate between 2 strollers, a lightweight Volo and a heavy Peg-Perrego Pliko. My father uses this Jeep stroller when taking care of my kid. I recently used it for the first time and found some serious flaws:

1. The wheels lock up while you're pushing it. This is very dangerous if it happens to you when crossing the street. The stroller's brakes extend towards your feet. They are extremely easy to accidentally step on, which means you will have many sudden stops or slow downs. On a recent trip, this happened to me at the crosswalk and several other times during the day. Other strollers have the brakes harder to activate. The Peg-Perrego has one that stick vertically upwards (not horizontally towards your foot). he volo has brakes that you flip to the side.

As mentioned by other reviews, the wheels feel cheap and don't rotate well on non-smooth terrain. (Which can include concrete and asphalt).

This stroller is also very hard for me to push since the handle bars do not adjust. I am 5'11 and I had a really tiring time. In addition to the handle bars being low, I also couldn't walk close behind the stroller due to the easy-to-accidentally-activate brakes as mentioned above. So this means strain to both your arms and back. I would never take this stroller on a long trip or vacation. You would be hurting yourself because of the poor ergonomics.
